ACLT bone marrow registry

The Afro-Caribbean Leukaemia Trust was established in June 1996 by Beverley De-Gale and Orin Lewis, the parents of Daniel 'Playzo' De-Gale.

They have raised the numbers of potential Black/Mixed Race donors from 550 to approx. to over 55,000 as well as recruiting thousands of ethnic minorities to donate blood and stem cells as well as solid organ donation. And many lives have been saved in the process.
