UK CML Patient Seminar- Glasgow- BBC

I have just heard that currently there are 91 people (inc. clinicians) registered to attend the CML patient/carer day in Glasgow this Saturday. If you are considering attending but have not yet booked you can do so on the link below.

Also Prof. Steve Obrien has just asked me to let you know that the BBC will be filming this event with a view including it (and some interviews) in a programme about issues around innovative therapies and possible barriers to access (cost etc).
They will be interviewing some of the delegates but I think they have already arranged to do that.

Prof. Obrien has asked the film crew to be sensitive to delegates who might not beso comfortable with being filmed and they have agreed to that.
So if you do not want to be identified for whatever reason then please be aware and make sure you ask the film crew to exclude any shots that might inadvertently include you.

Please make sure you wear your 'What is my PCR?' badge if you already have one, or pick one up from the registration desk if you do not.
This will be a good way of identifying those of us who are members of CMLSg so we can at least say hello!
