The next meeting of the Hammersmith Leukaemia Patient/Carers Support Group will be on Saturday 25th June 2016 at 10am for 10.30am – 1.00pm. We hope that you will be able to attend. This is very informal and the purpose of this meeting is for leukaemia patients and/or their carers to meet with others who know what it is like to live with leukaemia. Although this is run at Hammersmith. Leukaemia patients/carers from other hospitals are welcome to attend. Any newly diagnosed patients are extremely welcome. Dr. Dragana Milojkovic consultant heamotologist and Irene Caballes clinical nurse specialist will be there to talk about CML and any new treatments. Macmillan Cancer Support will also be there to help with any advice regarding benefits Etc. This group is run in collaboration with the Hammersmith Support Nurses and support of the Hammersmith team. Tea, Coffee & Soft drinks and snacks will be provided.
