Once again, we are being heavily hit from one particular spammer in India which some of you may have noticed. I have tried to be vigilant and delete all these messages as quick as possible.
We have a bunch of methods of dealing with this, including account pre-approvement. However I hate turning this on as it stops genuine new members being able to quickly post a message. New members are often newly diagnosed, or are having a problem they need help with so turning this on is a last resort.
This morning, I have worked with an external spam management agency to identify this individual and taken steps which I hope will help. I have also had to, unfortunately, block registration from some small parts of India.
