Breathing issues

So in the past three weeks I’ve been to a&e twice,    First time was because of shortness of breath and palpitations. X-ray and bloods were done, and both came back normal.

Second time was for shortness of breath accompanied with chest pains.
Cardiac enzyme, X-ray, bloods and ECG came back all normal.

My second visit was almost two weeks ago, but now the past couple days I’ve been experiencing a constant shalllow breathing. I’ve looked at my bloods from Tuesday just gone (22/03/22) and my Haemoglobin is normal 134.     My red blood cell however was 3.93 which is a little on the lower side.

Could this be the reason for my shortness of breath? And shallow/ slightly laboured breathing ?

I assume you have a negative test for Covid - omicron Ba.2? which is spreading fast and is likely to be the dominant strain going forward.

How is your diet? are you eating and/or drinking enough water throughout the day. You may have an electrolyte imbalance which could be the cause of your symptoms.... sodium/magnesium/potassium etc. Try 1/2 teaspoon of sodium bicarbonate in water a few times a day and see if that helps. Or you can buy electrolyte drinks on amazon etc.

My latest renal canal blood test shows that all my levels are within good range,  but this is definitely something I’ll try thank you, And to answer your question about water, I drink a good 2.5  - 3 litres a day.  Diet could probably be better as there’s some days where I skip meals.

Just it’s hard for me to believe that this breathing is due to anxiety or stress as it happens for prolonged periods
