I wanted to post also after reading Karinne's post. I too had bad pleural effusion and had lungs drained 2 liters from both lungs. Stopped Sprycel and after one year still undetected. First diagnosed in 2001, Gleevec for over 10 years and Gleevec started to fail. Then Sprycel for 10 years.
