Blood test

Hi. I have just had a blood test done unrelated to my CML and the doctor is a little concerned because my kidney count was low ..is this to do with Glivec..I have had my dosage increased to 600 ml 3 months ago..do you think that it is anything to do with that. Any advice please . Thanks Linda

Hi I have been taking 800ml for some time now with no problem to my kidney count

MMy Kidney counts stopped me from going on the interferon trial with Gleevic and my GP is monitoring it but advised me to stay away from Alcohol not much more to worry about unless the counts drop more. I guess if this is the only thing I have to give up to stay clear of CML then it’s worth it.
