chickenpox
Hi Kathy
Chances are you have had chicken pox when you were a child. If your resistance is low chicken pox can bring on shingles in adults, this usually happens after a transplant. I would venture a guess that you will be just fine. With chickenpox the kids are at their most infectious before the symptoms appear so too late to do anything anyway. You are exposed to so many things when you have young kids, I am sure you will be ok.From what I can remember your white blood count is pretty good on Glivec so you should be able to resist any potential infection.
