Does anyone take omega 7 supplement I would like to know if its ok to take whilst on gleevic

I am not sure if it would have any effect on the absorbtion of Glivec though so I suggest you contact Novartis directly and ask if you are worried.

Hi Sue

I don't take any supplements, other than a daily multi-vitamin tablet;but I have read that increasing your intake of Omega3 and reducing your intake of Omega6 is good at reducing the risks of getting all kinds of diseases, including cancer.

Not sure how any of these, or Omega 7, effect those of us who are already being treated for CML though. I look forward to reading any other comments on this specific question and generally about supplements.
