Post office travel insurance

Hi, I have just spoken to Post Office Travel (Fortis)to renew our travel insurance and I have been informed they will no longer cover my husband for CML on an annual policy, even though nothing has changed from previous policy. Always used them and they are recommended on here but no joy anymore! Can any one recommend any other company that will cover for an annual policy.

Best place to try is Medici Travel - they are really reasonable and the phones are manned by nurses so they know what they are talking about!

Their website is great and recognises all the medical conditions and asks questions specific to that condition so they get the most accurate info. They do individual trip and annual insurance.

Hi everyone, I agree with Karena. Medici Travel insurance is very reasonable and good cover. I have insured Becky with them for our holiday in August. x

Many thanks, Medici Travel have come up trumps. Excellent to deal with and saved £70 from our last Post Office policy (glad P.O. don't do annual insurance for CML now).

I have removed the post office as a recommended travel insurance provider from our travel section... I have now included the details of Medici Travel on that page. Thanks Karena for the suggestion.

I have just spoken to Medici and was not particularly impressed. They would not give me worldwide cover, which I currently have, and wanted nearly £200 for annual European cover for self and healthy wife. How does that compare with what others have been quoted? johnh
