i want someone to give me hope of having a healthy brother or sister for my little son. I believe there is hope somewhere though unpublished. I am so stressed about it but at the same time not giving up.... (research doesnt provide much) what can i do?? I am afraid about a negative response when i introduce this issue to my oncologist and gynaecologist but i know someone somewhere had a successful pregnancy. I was diagnosed with CML last May (2009). Would be glad for all options.

hi Nansubuga, dont know if you read my post from June but i have just given birth to a beautiful baby girl in June, she is 10wks old and so far everything is good. I was diagnosed in October 2007 and was at that time desperate for a family. I conceived while on glivec but came off it asap, 4 wks in, had a normal pregnancy and bloods stayed normal throughout. There is hope but it just isnt reported enough, you just read what you cant do. So my message is to hang on in there and dont give up, i am proof that it does happen. All the best
