Thank you for sharing your excellently constructed draft letter to MPs. I hope others will adapt it into their own words and send it to their MPs.
I met my MP (Laurence Robertson, Tewkesbury) a couple of weeks ago and he was very supportive. He put down three written questions to the Secretary of State for Health on 3 December and has sent me copies of the questions and the replies. Unfortunately, the minister passed the buck to NICE which may not be a surprise as no doubt NICE was set up as it is to deflect difficult decisions away from the Government. Anyway, I think it was still worth raising the profile of the issue with the minister. My MP is now taking up the matter with a member of NICE directly and will keep me informed of the outcome.
Also, thank you for putting a scan of the Daily Mail article on the site. It was a real achievement to get that national coverage.

Great letter - much better than the one I wrote to Vince Cable. He told me you had put the case very persuasively, and he was right.
Seems we share our consultant and live nearby. Rather than post our e-mails, I wonder if you would mind making contact say through Sandy (if she doesn't mind), or Karen Linfield at the Hammersmith? We have a local fundraising event in January that you may be interested in. I'd like to mention it to you anyway.
