Travel Insurance again

I was just wondering who people use for travel insurance in the UK? I want a family multi trip european cover but everyone I have tried online has said no :-( I was diagnosed last October, awaiting my 3 month Gleevec results. Do I need to phone them up?

I am going away middle of March and can get cover without my condition but would prefer to have cover even if it costs a bit more.

Also has anyone had issues with dry flaky skin on their head, eyes and face? I also hae a mild rash on my shins and get a pins and needles sensation all over sometimes, is this common? These have all manifested within the last month...

Cheers
Ian

I think there is a link somewhere on this site to specialist providers - may even be in the link section (I haven't looked again). anyway, I know that when I clicked on one of the providers there they gave a fairly decent quote for me and my family - it was about double the cost to include cover for CML compared to what it would be to exclude CML related problems. But both were fairly reasonable.

I have existing cover that is automatically renewable - it excludes problems that arise because of pre-existing conditions which for me is OK as I don't think CML is likely to be the reason for any use of the insurance at least at the moment.

In any case, you can get cover and the specialists are quite reasonable.

Will take a look, I did the Age Concern quote online and they said they wouldn't cover me. I'll try calling them...

We have just insured with them, both Bill and I have medical problems, and we are ancient !! We are fully covered for europe. Phone No 01689 859102

I have cover for CML and my husband's medical condition through Medici Travel Insurance, for two weeks to Malta. It may be worth ringing them on 0845 5800168, or try the website www.medicitravel.com they have sorted out cover a couple of times now.

Try Snowcard.

They cover the both of us worldwide at £136 per year.including CML

I dont think thats bad.
