This drug has been many many years in research and development, and is as big a breakthrough for MDS as Glivec was for us. Prof Mufti has devoted his research in this direction for years, it is a hammer blow for him, but most importantly for MDS patients that the NICE decision has rejected the treatment.

Yet again a NICE decision that seems to fly in the face of humanity and common decency.
