A heartfelt thank you to Professors Goldman, Apperley (my wife's consultant), Craddock and Clark for writing such a compelling letter to the Editor of the Telegraph. For these skilled and wonderful people to say "We find the committee's arguments in support of this decision to be perverse, inconsistent and demonstrative of an organisation struggling to accommodate the demands that such innovative therapies place upon procedures developed over a decade ago..." is surely very powerful.
The accompanying article in the same edition of the Telegraph has provision for comments. I added one giving a link to the Petition. I hope it garners some more signatures. It stands at 4,781 at 9.12am this morning. Well done, Sandy and everyone who has helped to get that number of people to sign.
