Hi Everyone,
First of all i hope your all keeping well, and getting ready for Christmas !
On Monday the 6th of Feb 2012. We are holding another Yorkshire CML Support group meeting, at this meeting we shall be having a talk and demonstration of one of the important sequences of our journey with CML. This shall be an in depth presentation of how the PCR test is carried out, from having the blood sample taken, to all the work that is done with the complex test right up untill we get the results off the consultant. This is one subject that gets so many questions on so many forums, i,m sure all would agree this should be in the very least an insight in to what is done.
The presentation will be carried out by the (HMDS) Haemotological Malignancy Diagnostic Service. It will be at St James Institute of Oncology in Leeds.
