Hello all,
My CML story is in the Daily Express today in the health section. Not Narcissistic, just trying to raise the profile of CML and the TKIs.

Hi Chris.... thanks for posting the DT article link here. I have just read it and found your story both moving and very familiar. Your 'dark humour' has really cheered me up - I don't often get to laugh at CML but I just love your way of dealing with it....
'...“A lot of people don’t know how to approach you so I don’t tell many people about it.”
They have come up with some unique strategies to keep it that way. “I have quite a dark sense of humour,” Chris explains. “Becky and I decided that leukaemia is a pretty nasty word so we call it Leonard.
“People who know ask, ‘How’s Leonard?’ Some days I say, ‘He’s fine.’ But if I am feeling rubbish I say he’s being a pest.”...'
And thanks for giving the link to this site.
Sandy
Hi Chris,
What a great story. I work in Bristol, am 36, and was only diagnosed a few weeks ago. I had previously been very fit and healthy so it was a huge shock.
Like you, I initially got on the internet and scared myself looking at out of date information. I wish I had found this site and the fb page first.
Raising the profile of CML with positive stories such as yours has got to be a good thing.
Sarah.
