Hi, for many of you this topic is not applicable, but for others, it might be. I have been able to access DLA (Mobility element) which has then entitled me to Working Tax Credit which kicks in provided a minimum of 16 hours a week are worked. This has made an enormous difference to my life as I have been able to reduce my working hours to a more manageable level, whilst maintaining a reasonable income and some money to spend on buying in some support when I need it.
However, under the new regime, it is doubtful whether those of us that have previously managed to access this support will continue to receive it. Much has been said in the press and by Disability Groups and clearly there are many worse off than myself who are in fear of losing this support. If you feel able to sign the petition link below, then that would be marvellous, to pass it on to others would be even more marvellous as many more signatures are required to effect debate by the Back-Bench Business Committee.
