This survey has been commissioned by the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI).
The survey is being conducted by an independent researcher, Leela Barham. Leela Barham is an independent health economist and policy expert.

*What is this survey about?
We want your views on treatment, including orphan medicines, as a person aged over 16 living with a rare disease in the UK. There are no right or wrong answers.
We refer to orphan medicines in this survey, these are medicines that have the orphan drug designation and treat diseases that affect less then 5 per 10,000 people in the European Union.
*How will the results be used?
The results of this survey will be published in a publicly available report that OMIG will use to raise the profile of rare diseases and orphan medicines.
*Your participation is voluntary. Your answers will be treated in confidence.
*How long will it take to fill in the survey?
It should only take 10 to 15 minutes to fill in this survey and you can skip questions if you do not wish to answer them all.
