Today 18th August 10 years ago I heard those words. You have CML. Didn't know anything about Leukaemia.. It's been a whirlwind 10 years. I have been on a huge learning curve. I've had the most wonderful treatment from the NHS. I'm full of admiration for Dragana and her team at the Hammersmith and was given the news last week that My PCR is now 0.002. I'm intolerant of 3 of the drugs but they all worked. I'm on the best of them for me. Niltotinib half original standard dose of 400mg. I'm a 10 year cancer survivor.
