Swollen glands

Hi all, not been on for a while , i was dx 2003 on 600mg glivec.im just abit worried as my glands are swollen in my neck, i did have a viral infection a few weeks ago and still have a cough, cold sores and blocked ears , could this just be the cause ? And nothing else reappearing! Im just feeling a little anxious about it.hope everyone is doing well, kathy.xx

I don't think you should be so worried.... given you still have remnants of the original viral infection (cough, cold sores, ears blocked etc) it follows that your lymph glands in your neck will be swollen in response to the infection- which given your ears are still blocked may not yet have resolved. I am sure they will go down as soon as you fully recover from the infection. It sounds like you are generally 'run down' and maybe supplementing with vitamins etc may help you build up your immune system. Vitamin C can help, and keeping well hydrated is important.
