My Son, 7 year CML survivor has been nominated for LLS Man of the Year in the New York Chapter - Please help support his effort!

My son, Benjamin Zangoglia, is a 7 year CML survivor. He was diagnosed when 10 & is now 17. He's had ups and downs. He now takes NIlotinib & has acheived CMR.

At the beginning of his diagnosis, I practically lived here! It is such a great forum. I talked a lot about Ben since he was diagnosed at age 10 - which is very rare.

Anyway, Leukemia Lymphoma Society has nominated Ben for "Man of the Year." The competition kick off was last evening, 3-26-2015. His team is "Be CURE-ious" at teambecureious.com. You can read his bio there.

Ben is the ONLY candidate this year who is a cancer survivor & has CML. The other candidates are big NYC professionals who have pledged to raise oodles of money to win.

Won't you help this CML'er & high school junior go "toe to toe" with big guys in this 10-week competition? It would mean so much for your support!!! In the end, for Ben, it's not the amount of money raised, but rather the friends & support that he'll know he always has.

This is his first "coming out" party so to speak. He's so private about his condition. He's finally ready to go public.

Remember: it's "teambecureious.com" Give for Ben Give to Cure CML!!!!! Every little bit helps. Pass the word! Let the world know we're here!!

Contact me if you need any additional info. Ben will talk to anybody about the competition.

Thanks. Tracey
