Relapse and quick MMR recovery on destiny trial

Hi All. 

Just an update on my progress after my relapse on the DESTINY trial.After 2 months back on full dose of glivec 400mg my PCR reduced from 0.297% back down to 0.023% on the I/S so I'm relieved about thatFor those of you interested in the numbers, these are my readings through the DESTINY trial:-dx in 2010 with 110% PCR and medium risk sokal score.half dose start = undetectable.half dose month 1 = 0.002%half dose month 2 = 0.002%half dose month 3 = 0.005%half dose month 4 = 0.009%half dose month 5 = 0.007%half dose month 6 = 0.01%half dose month 7 = 0.02%half dose month 8 = 0.007%half dose month 9 = 0.01%half dose month 10 = 0.009%half dose month 11 = 0.006%half dose month 12 = 0.002%no meds month 13 = 0.047%no meds month 14 = 0.227%no meds month 15 = 0.297%back on glivec month 16 = 0.218%back on glivec month 17 = 0.023%Best wishes :)

thanks for the update... as Darley suggested it would be good if you could copy your post into the DESTINY thread pinned to the top of the page- that way we can all keep abreast of what's happening to everyone on the Destiny trial who posts on this forum.

I would also like to say that - to reassure people about the meaning of 'relapse' in this context- it is better to use the term known as 'molecular relapse' in order to to distinguish it from 'disease relapse' which is an entirely different scenario!
