Hello everyone. My name's Marios, 25, from the sunny island of Cyprus (albeit rainy and moody these last few days). I had no idea such a website existed and to my great pleasure, I stumbled upon it just now. I'm an English Teacher and have lived in the UK for three years (uni studies, 2010-2013). Hoping to relocate over there again sometime in the next couple of years.
I was diagnosed with stage-1 CML in July (20th to be precise), and have since been on Glivec and constant supervision by my doctors here in Limassol. I realised something was wrong because of an enlarged spleen, and have since had to be hospitalised once (I spent August in the hospital).
I feel much better now thankfully. Looking forward to meeting you all!
