Potential cure?

Thanks for sharing the link Audrey .... many of us have been aware of Prof. Holyoakes research over the last 5 years or so. She and her team have made remarkable progress and it is good to see that funding for her hypothesis about what drives the LSC and why TKIs cannot shut down the whole process by targeting stem cells has continued to find funding. It has been important research and my hope that her results from research with mice will be born out in human clinical trials. 

Owing to the relatively simple mechanism that causes CML, as patients we are indeed fortunate to be at the cutting edge of cancer research.
