I had a hard time getting my oncologist to return my calls with my lab results. A nurse called me and told me my BCR went from 8.13 to 6.69 over the last 3 months. I have no reference to know what is "Normal" or in range. Could someone help? Thanks, Laura

Laura the key thing here is that your results need to be reducing. The fundamentals of this test are explained here.
The reduction you quote is a bit slower than ideal for a 3 month period, but similar to my experience at one stage (and I'm now <<0.01% and have been for nearly 10 years). How long is it since you were diagnosed, and where are you being seen? Do you know what your BCR-ABL level was at diagnosis? With a bit more background people on here can help explain.
