Yes. It just happened to me. From October to February I was treated for accelerated CML. All kinds of problems, mostly revolving around pancytopenia, inability to consistently continue treatment, and eventually clonal evolution. Then in the space of a week I developed a whole mess of blasts. Now have AML and just started induction chemo. If I can achieve remission I’ll require a BMT. In the best scenario I’ll be here until late summer. Having any leukemia is statistically unlikely, having CML that turns into AML is even less likely. But it does happen.
Thank you very much for your kind response. If my diagnosis is correct, can it be turn CML to AML? And what is the main cause to turn from CML to AML?
