21 Month PCR Update Sprycel to Nilotinib

Categories:

I wanted to update everybody on my PCR results after switching from Dasatinib to Nilotinib.  I can no longer log on using my Google account for some reason so there are other threads under my name with all of my results but in summary:

Dasatinib 100mg

3 month: 23%

6 month: 1.9%

9 month: 0.81%

12 month: 0.32% (Different Hospital/Lab, Lab B)

15 month: 0.58%

16 month: 0.11% (Via BMB, Lab B)

18 month: 1.2% (Dasatinib fail switch to Nilotinib)

21 month:  0.36% (Nilotinib 600mg)

I am disappointed, although not terribly as I suppose 3.6% would have been a gut punch.  I'm at least back in the "Yellow" zone in the NCCN chart.  I'm not sure why it refuses to go close to 0.1 (except for one time) but I'm grateful to be here and grateful for every day with my family.

Of course I'm hoping for better at 24 months and will keep you guys posted.  Hope this is useful (especially for those rare few that switch due to Dasatinib fail and not intolerance).

Any comments/similar stories would be appreciated.  Thanks.
