PCR 12 Months

Hello everyone, I pass the report of 12 months of treatment with Tasigna 600 daily.
03/13/2018 PCR 58 IS DX
08/21/2018 PCR 0.028 IS
04/02/2019 PCR 0.022 IS
06/06/2019 PCR 0.0098 RM4.0

I have no adverse effects, just a little bit of Rush in my arms, I do not know if I can talk to my hematologist and ask for a dose reduction, I am very happy with the results, I have changed my diet, I think it helped me and I tried a few days of fasting. I hope to continue with this trend.
What do the experts think about the dose reduction of Tasigna?

Thank you
Damian

Yes - you are a perfect candidate for dose reduction.

Your PCR level has dropped in one year of treatment to statistically "undetected" (i.e. PCR < 0.01%). Third and fourth decimal places are meaningless.

You are in a great place.

You might even consider switching to a low dose sprycel (20 mg) in order to attack whatever CML you have left from another biochemical vantage point. Evidence is emerging that rotating TKI drugs impacts more CML clones for an even deeper response.

Congratulations on your response.  I believe you can safely say that reducing your dose is in order.  If I'm not mistaken the recommended starting dose is 400mg so at a minimum you can probably ask to go there.  How many days a week are you fasting and until what time?  Just trying to get some ideas.  I'm taking Vitamin D and can always learn more.  Thanks.
