PCR Too Low to Quantify

Hi all - hope you’re well. Had a question. My last PCR came back as ‘detected but too low to quantify’. This result is after 3 months of ‘Undetected’. Waiting on my doctor to explain but anyone have an idea of what ‘detected but too low to quantify’ refers to ?

thanks

Yes, it means you are not going to die from CML.

You are in the noise of the test. The 'detection' could very well be contamination. Unless you have a trend upward from 3 consecutive tests with each one a log increase, you are fine. And you will be fine.

It could just be that the lab you use, increased the sensitivity of the test and an”undetected” could become “detected but”. You have to remember that “undetected” does not mean 0. You are fine.
