Food (or lack thereof) for thought ...

Cool insights regarding potential immune cell trafficking. I have been intermittent fasting regularly for nearly a year now with an eating window of 6-8 hours per day.  The purpose of this is to routinely get into some state of autophagy (and improve mTOR regulation), though perhaps I am not fasting long enough to get this cell housekeeping benefit.

You need to be fasting more than two days to get the autophagy benefit. Autophagy ramps up when your body enters ketosis. I verify using ketone strips.

Staying in ketosis for a period of time allows autophagy to do its job.
