hello everyone, hope everyone is doing well and feeling fine today. yesterday i got the results of a lung cat scan and have unfortunately developed a lung infection. the pulmonologist wants me to take two rounds of zithromax (zpack). there is a 'moderate' interaction between zithromax and sprycel, i checked with my specialty pharmacisist, and there is a rare side effect of irregular heart rhythm when you take the two at the same time. i have a call into my oncologist about whether i should stop taking sprycel while i take the zithromax. has anyone else taken these two together and if so, were there any adverse effects? thank you!

I recently had a sinus infection and was prescribed zpack. I continued to take sprycel while taking the zpack with no adverse effects. Only the usual stomach issues with antibiotics.
