Survey: Help us research CML and COVID in distanced consults

You may remember a few months ago we asked members of this group to complete a questionnaire about App usage to manage CML.

The same group of researchers are interested to understand patient’s experiences of distanced consults, during COVID times.

The study has passed ethics board, so we’d really encourage as many of you as possible to respond.

Here’s further details:

A team from the University of Birmingham and the Haematology Unit at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham are undertaking a project looking at how the follow-up care that hospitals provide to patients with CML (e.g. clinic appointments, blood tests, medication supply) has changed during the COVID-19 pandemic.

They have worked with University College London, CML Support and the CML UK Facebook group to design a short questionnaire to help find out about patients’ opinions of the outpatient care that they have received over the past few months and how this compares with their experiences prior to the pandemic.  The answers that patients provide will assist haematology centres in the UK in deciding how they can best support CML patients, both now and in the future.
This questionnaire should take no longer than 10 minutes to complete.
