Dasatinib and energy drink (redbull)

Hi all,

I wonder if we are taking dasatinib,  can we get the energy drink, such as red bull, when we need a clear head for some work.

Is there any interaction between the two?

Hi Steven,

I am of course not a doctor so this is just my personal experience, but I’ve always had an energy drink in the morning to get going instead of coffee. I have about a 500ml can of V, Redbull or Monster and I haven’t had any interactions or issues since starting Dasatinib treatment 4 months ago. My doctor told me not to change anything and just keep living my life so I think you’ll be fine 👍🏻

Thanks for sharing the experience. I sometimes get fast heart beat after taking coffee.

For increasing energy, coffee doesn't do much for me though. So I think some other choice are needed, in case I can't fail asleep during the day.

I will try redbull and see if it works.
