I was diagnosed over a year now and been on Sprycel. Started at 100 mg and later went to 50. I am 38. Since starting Sprycel I have noticed that my menstrual cycle changed significantly. Specifically I went from having my cycle every 28 to 30 days for 4-5 days to having it significantly longer. This month alone I had it for 20 days and counting. In past months I had it for 10 days, 14 days, etc. I saw on the Sprycel website that it can cause severe bleeding (usually gastrointestinal) however this is ridiculous. Due to this issue I had to get iron fusions because my hemoglobin and ferritin got very low. Not sure if any other woman had this experience but it’s been very worrisome. When I have my cycle this long I feel extra sluggish and in a bit of a fog. Any feedback or words of encouragement is appreciated.
