Hi all,
I hope everyone is doing well.
We just received our 9month blood and pcr results.
Bcr abl (is) 0.046
But the slightly concerning part is that the lymphocytes are elevated to 4.8 10x9l.
My partner had elevated lymphocytes at times but only slightly peaking at 4.0, and dropping back to normal ranges at other times. But now we are moved to having bloods done every 3 months.
Her lymphocytes were 3.8 3 months ago and they sit at 4.8 at the moment.
I am aware that lymphocytosis is pretty common in patients being treated with dasatinib and in some cases relate to good response, but on the other hand it also relates to pleural effusion.
Is this something we should worry about? We have our visit with the consultant in 2 weeks. Anyone else experienced elevated lymphocytes whilst on dasatinib and if so to what levels did they reach?
