5 years of TFR for me

I wanted to share such a good news. My pcr is undetected again!!!
It has been 5 years that I stopped Sprycel because of a big pleural effusion.
I took Sprycel for 4 years before discovering my pleural effusion and had to stop the drug until my lung recovered.

This is fantastic news! Congratulations.

Thank you Scuba. You are doing fantastic too (except the anemia).

Congratulations Karinne! Great news! I wish you undetected for ever!!!

Thatโ€™s good news for you!!๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ˜

Well, thank you! I'm planning on trying TFR in January. I hate to jinx myself, but I'm not particularly hopeful. My transcripts would rise so quickly whenever I had to stop dasatinib due to pleural effusion. I've been CMR or just above since 2016 (except when dealing with effusions). I've been on nilotinib for 3 years, 150 mg and CMR for the past two - no blips. We'll see, fingers crossed!

The only way to know is to try. Crossed fingers.
