is Dr Jorge Cortes a good clinical CML doctor?

i’m looking for personal experience.

He's a top-level CML specialist. One of the very best.

I was at a CML conference with him a few weeks ago. He is great at explaining complex CML topics to patients. You would be in very safe hands with him.

As I transition to more treatment, permit me to come clean.
Dr. Cortes is my doctor.

I felt that I personally wanted to ask the question the way I did.

ps. the VA sent me to him from Florida. But just my next appointment to start another treatment, VA said they made mistake for 3years to send me there.
My treatment is delayed while sits on their hands waiting for records which for over 2 weeks Georgia Cancer has not received.
Anyway, that’s my problem. I’m just venting.

Dr. Cortes is one of the top Leukemia doctors in the world.
He was (and is) my doctor when he was at M.D. Anderson.
Dr. Cortes is the reason I was able (permitted) to try low dose dasatinib before it was "fashionable" and to try the things I did to get to treatment free remission.
He is a researcher who "writes" the protocols other doctors follow. I strongly endorse him.
