I’m searching for CML patients who also have a Myeloproliferative neoplasm (MPN)

Do we have any in our group, particularly in the UK?

Yes i have CML diagnosed 20 years ago and recently diagnosed with ET. I believe this is rare according to my consultant.

Yes, it is quite rare - which is why they’ve asked us to try to find patients with this combination.

Exactly that … CML with another MPN.

It is quite unusual.

I think my case has been discussed with other consultants around the world and i would assume the request to find details of others has come from my case. I have posted before about high platelet counts but no one responded so i imagine i am the only one here.

Christine, the request is not starting from your case. It's from the wider MPN research group in the NHS looking for CML patients, rather then the CML research group looking for other MPN patients.

Polycythemia Vera and CML here. Not in the UK, however.

Thanks Alaina, but due to a bunch of factors we are only looking for people in the UK. It certainly seems to be a rare combination!
