Wow, what a journey! Diagnosed in October of 21 with CML, went through 3 TKI’s, diagnosed with Blast phase CML and AML (did I ever win the lottery-both CML and AML mutations), BMT May 2023 and today another undetected BCR ABL. Grateful beyond words. I wanted to post about an uplifting outcome for those that get the terrifying diagnosis of blast phase. I am 17 months in remission from AML with an undetected BCR ABL. BMTs have come a long, long way and my experience was so much better than anticipated. I hope everyone lives in gratitude for each day.

Update from blast phase with AML
this is great to read. I was diagnosed in stage 1 of CML and am thankful for that. really encouraging though to see such a positive post from someone who was diagnosed with blast phase of both CML and AML - what a great outcome. And yes, we have to be grateful for each day and that we live in a time and place where such illnesses can be treated effectively.
