leukaemia in spinal fluid

Hi there, long time no communication, Paul has had a good period of remission. Now things have changed and he is on maintenance chemo (HHT), but cml has gone to spinal fluid. Can anyone tell me what this really means and what to expect please. I know its not good, but just to have some knowledge would help

Sorry - I first have to apologise for not being a regular visitor/contributor to this website. For those that know of us, Paul now has the leukaemia yet again in the spinal fluid and is receiving intrathecal chemotherapy.
Has anyone out there had radiotherapy to the brain and spine? If so, please let me know what happened
