A few weeks ago I posted about the large purple marks that my mother has, particularly on her forearms but that are now appearing on her legs.
Her consultant doesn't know what they are or what's causing them but she has asked for tests for Vasculitis. Needless to say, I've since researched this and I'm quite worried - particularly as it is sometimes caused by a reaction to some drugs. Obviously we want her to continue with Glivec......
Has anyone else come across this complication? My mother is 80 and was diagnosed about 21 months ago. She is also diabetic.
Any advice gratefully received!
