Hi Guys
Its been a while since I posted but just wanted to share with you that its 4 years since Steves transplant on Sunday wow how time has flown. Generally he is doing really well and life is pretty good! My best fiends Mum was diagnosed with Non Hodkins yesterday and it made me realise how well Steve has done and how far we have come as is the same with many of you - A rollercoaster for sure but not a fun one !! and this CML site continues to go from strength to strength thanks to all of you with helpful advice and thoughts on so many different subjects. A huge big hug to dear Elizabeth and Sandy Guys you really have made a difference to so many. There have been some warriors along the way who have lost their fight but it was an honour to know them and share their experiances. The next few months we are hoping Steve will come off some more drugs and have his vaccinations his skin is still quite bad at times but thats a small price to pay for him being here, he also souunds like Bob Hoskins now as he is still got the wart virus on his vocal cord which he needs to have lasered off every couple of months! so overall the sun is still shining and tomorrow is another day.
