as some of you will know, pat has done lots of 'public awareness days' in the past and has found the general public to be very supportive and interested not only in cml and leukaemia in general, but also in talking directly to a patient. she says it has been an uplifting experience. with this in mind and with our commitment to reaching cml patients/carers who may be unaware of our group, cml support group UK (ie us) have funded pat to attend an open university course on fundraising. pat will now be our fundraiser in chief ;O)
