No reason to NOT join the gym?

So a number of things...

1. I still suffer from the general fatigue in the evenings and weekends
2. Light exercise hits me hard later in the day (light as in playing 15 minutes in th egarned with a ball with and my 2 year old...)
3. I still get lots of cramps, mainly in hands and feet

but I want to be fitter (i used to be), I want to feel energized, and my work has just openned an onsite gym (free for 3 months) so I can't think of any reason why I shouldn't join up and see if it makes a difference.

From what I have read there are no issues about doing exercise on Gleevec, and moderate exercise is to be encouraged as part of a heathly lifestyle...

I have talked with the company running the gym about my CML, and from the answers I have given about the CML and the effects of Gleevec they don't see a reason why I should be at risk in joining, but are obviously wary of anyone on medication especially for something like CML. THey are more than happy to get me a light routine which if ok can be upped over a period of time...

So is there any reason why I shouldn't sign up and get fitter?

I have been taking glivec for two years and i go kickboxing twice a week .You may find it hard at first but if you used to be fit before i am sure will soon get back into it .All i can say is if you enjoy it go for it
