this post is intended to give a little bit of hope to anyone recently diagnosed with cml who is worrying about the future, although I must admit there is also an element of bragging as well. I have just had my 9 months pcr results and I am now down to 0.35% ph+ (from a starting point of 98%). By my reckoning that is a 2 and a bit log reduction and a good step along the way to the next target. I might even have a glass of something to celebrate tonight.
So if you're new to cml and are suffering from Glivec side effects, trust me, things will improve and you will feel better.
