Hi All - does anyone else suffer from aching down one side of the face? I get it on average every 6 weeks or so, and it's usually accompanied by an uncomfortable swelling of the gums which lasts for a few days.
I had this pre-diagnosis then, when I started Glivec, it disappeared for a while. I assumed it was symptom of CML which had been 'fixed'. Now it's back again - occasionally accompanied by sore nasal membranes.
Anyone got any ideas? Feels like a 'viral thing'...

Hi Kenny, maybe this could be neuralgic pain caused by say, a small hole in one of your teeth or for some other reason that is not obvious?
I suffered this when I was younger... pre CML... and it was quite painful. Cold really made it worse. I am not saying it is this but it might be worth checking it out with your GP or dentist.

I do not get face aches
But at times I have a jaw ache, when I have back cramps or bone pain
I think for me it maybe a trigger from the body being
at stress from cramps so try and think of some of the triggers around the time of you feeling the face aches
I am also off to the dentist to have my jaw checked
