i have been on glivec for 6 months and have had quite a few different side effects but are all being managed well with various medications, one thing really does bother me is my memory, im so forgetful these days and find myself doing stupid things its getting worse and i was wondering if this is a side effect of glivec and if so does it last long,

Many people have said that they experience a sort of foggy thinking...often described as 'Glivec brain'.
I think it also might be to do with the fact that CML is a serious disease and the stress of diagnosis can effect us in many different ways..not least with the effect you describe. I am sure as time goes on you will find ways to cope and as you get used to Glivec -and you will- the side effects you are experiencing will diminish.
