Some of you might be interested in this...

Over The Wall run residential activity camps for children and siblings from 8yrs to 17 yrs old who are affected by a serious or chronic illness. Over The Wall camps provide fun filled activities in a safe environment. We have a one to one ratio of adult s to young people and a voluntary team of health professionals who provide home from home care where needed. We have some funded places still available in Scotland for siblings (this includes children who have parents with a serious illness) 12th to the 17th July and sick children 19th to the 24th July also a camp from the 1st to the 7th August Instead of wasting this beneficial resource we are looking towards organisations like yours for young people who would benefit from these breaks

All of our camps are free of charge and we are able to arrange transport if needed

Camp - "a chance for sick kids to kick back and raise a little hell"

Founder, Paul Newman

My son Max thoroughly enjoyed the experience that the summer camps provide. He was fortunate to get a place on a camp just a year out from his transplant, and we saw a significant change in him on his return from camp. He would definitely recommend these to other children.

We kept in touch with the charity and I am now a Trustee of Over The Wall!
