Hello Sandy I was asked by another cmler to contact you as she is having difficulty joining this site and I cannot remember what I did to join so I thought you might beable to help. Sharon has had cml since January this year, been on gleevec but is changing to nilotinib as soon as she gets her funding through from her PCT in Calderdale this is on Dr Grahame Smiths advise in Leeds. If you could e-mail Sharon personally then she will be grateful taylorsharon1214@yahoo.co.uk or if anyone else has any info for her thats ok too Thanks Sue d

Sue......
If Sharon wants to read up on Nilotinib, she can still use the search facility on this site, even without registration. The read ups seem to be quite positive.
I had the same problem in that I had to wait over a week before my user name and password were activated. In the meantime, I was able to talk to people on the US site easily. I emailed the Administrator and got a helpful reply saying they were having to enter data manually - hence thedelay.
Hope Sharon has managed to link in by now.
Hi Sue,
Could you send me your email address. The last two that I have for you failed.
Thanks,

I am sorry some of you have experienced a delay before activation of new accounts.
Your must understand that our site is targeted by a huge amount of spam and in order that it does not appear on this forum someone has to spend a lot of time sorting it out, manually.
We are currently updating the software and redesigning this site in order that we can overcome this very time consuming problem and make everything more technically efficient. I am hoping that the new site will be online in 4-6 weeks.
Meanwhile, if you have a delay of more than 48 hrs then please use the contact us email and let me know. I will do my best to help
Thanks for your understanding,
Sandy
